I created this project initially as a way to help my own students at the University of New Hampshire develop rehearsal techniques. The project attempts to simulate what it is really like in a band rehearsal, using short segments of actual rehearsal audio with real school bands and then asking the user to listen and respond to the question, "What would you do if this were your band?" I then surveyed over 50 leading conductor/teachers and assembled their responses so that the user can compare what they would do to what the experts say.

The book can be purchased alone as a text with all of the relevant score pages and answer sheets, or purchased as a pack that includes ALL of the scores used in the book.

It is an ideal way for pre-service or young teachers to enhance their skills, but is equally useful for experienced educators to add some tools to their tool belt, or even as a springboard for discussion during a professional development day.
